Jawazat has announced key updates on Saudi exit and re-entry visas. Multiple-entry visas are valid for three months, calculated either from the issuance date or the departure date, depending on the visa type. A multiple-entry visitor visa can be extended only once, after which the traveller must leave Saudi Arabia. Overstaying results in a 1,000 SAR fine and visa cancellation. Visa fees are non-refundable, even if cancelled. Fees vary by visa type, and extensions from outside the Kingdom are charged at double rates.
